My TURKEY adventure: ISTANBUL ;)

cintaku tertinggal di turkey ;))...
hehe.. that was my feeling after spending 12 days in turkey with my 5 amazing friends. rasa mcm x nak balik pun aderr..hehe. the jurney was full of challenge, fun, happiness, blaaa...blaaaa and i wud say 'mind blowing'..haha, well, at least to me... kenape mind blowinng??? haaa, u'll find the answer sooon ;)

6 of us: iyien, iffah, farah , azie n dua bodygurad: zain n amin ;)

we all went to turkey right away after our stressful final exam ;). actually we almost cancelled our trip becoz of the volcano eruption that took place in iceland. the unpronounceable volcano coughed up its huge ashes that caused millions of flights had been cancelled or delayed. u see, that is all Allah's power and we as a human being couldnt do anything to stop it even we have what-so-called 'powerful-sophisticated technologies'.. n we definitely shud take lesson of this disaster as well. however..with Allah's will, we all managed to continue our trip to the land full of Islamic history and got a chance to discover the beauty of the Istanbul, Cappadocia and Pamukkale. ( these are the few places in turkey that become a tourist attraction, they have more to offer but we just managed to spent times in these 3 big cities bcoz of time and money constrains;)..haha, actually money matter most =P... ohh, not to forget.. turkish's sumptous traditional foods are worth to try like Baklava, ek mek ( fish sandwich), kebabbb, turkish delight and many more..nyummm!! nyummm!!

okeyy..i knoe it's getting boring..haha..just bare with me lads ;D... ISTANBUL was the first city that we explored. it was really amazing city with beautiful mosques, grand bazaarr (a place that turns me into a very poor girl, hahaaa), historical castle, tomb of the emporers/ sultans like Sultan Mohamed Al-Fatih and their royal family as well as tomb of Abu Ayyub Al-Ansori ( sahabat nabi). me n my frens was so grateful to have a chance to recite surah Yassin to sultan Mohamed Al-Fateh ( a great man who succeed in conquering Constantinople for Islam hundred years ago) just beside his tomb. i really feel like crying at that moment.

this is Sultan Mohamed Al-Fateh's tomb..al-Fatehah

alhamdulillah, we also have the opportunity to visit and pray in Blue Mosque, sultan Suleiman mosque, sultan Al-Fateh mosque and a lot more. one of the best moment in Istanbul was u will hear - laungan azan bersahut-sahutan di udara- from the nearby mosques in every prayer time. it was very soothing and touching for us becoz we dont hear the 'live azan' like that for almost one year in ireland..huhu.. as for myself, i experienced a great moment there when i got a chance to perform my first Jumaat prayer at Blue Mosque after 22 years of living. huhuu...soo touching.
just near the Blue mosque is Hagia Sophia (another historical building- it was a church during byzantine time, turns into a mosque during Ottoman empayar and now become a museum). ohhh, there is one more place around there called Basilica cictern. it has Medusa head inside- this is greek methos if i'm not mistaken.

-the gurlz-

when u are in Istanbul, dont ever forget to let the gentle breeze of the Bosphorus sea to cool ur face by taking 6 hours cruise tour. it's all worth ur money. the six of us really enjoyed our time in cruise except that i fall asleep a couple of time..hahah, naughty me ;P. ermmm what else ekk??...o yeahhh, make sure u dont miss what we called 'turkish dance'( yg orng laki menari sambil pusing-pusing tuhh,hehe)..well, at least u watch it once coz i think nothing so special bout it..like one of my frens said.." alaa, tengok kat you tube pun boleh"..haha. thank god we just watch it for free (ni punn curi-curi tgk =P ) than paying about 90 lira for that dancing.huhu

cantikkan?? amazing bosphorus sea ;)

one more place that is worth to go is DOLMABACHE. it is actually a castle used by the sultans years ago for administration and also as their house if i'm not mistaken. after Kamal at-tarturk took over turkey from Caliphs (Khalifah) system, he also used the castle for the same reason. well, this castle is famous for its wonderful and amazing interior design especially its beautiful chandeliar. waaa...it was really big i wud say but we cant take a photo inside the castle. such a waste..gaggaaga
Dolmabache

fuhhhh.. i guess it will take me the whole day to describe Istanbul, haha.. there are a lot more to tell actually but i just stop here. seriously, it was an unforgettable vacation. i think i will continue my stories bout 'my turkey adventure' soon. next time maybe bout CAPPADOCIA. yayyy;)

another biggest attraction here : cute babiess ;D

p/s : setiap hari kat istanbul, kitorg mcm wajib je makan aiskrim yg dijual sepanjang jln..murah,1 lira ajee...hehe. btw..to make sure ur trip to turkey is all worth it, do make research about all the historical places there okayy!! each of them have its own secret ;)..cheerss
